What’s Next?

Features we want to include as we get more users

In-App Video Calls

Although Zoom is currently a useful solution for hosting music classes, we envision transitioning to an integrated video hosting feature within our platform in the future.

Promotions For Being Consistent

We want to incentivize regular lesson attendance by offering rewards to students who consistently meet with their teachers.

Single-Edit Scheduling for Teachers

Although teachers can currently manage their weekly schedule using our bulk tool, we want to introduce a single edit feature to make adjustments easier.

Badges for Veteran Teachers

The more you teach on our platform, the more you should be recognized. Teachers who have taught a high volume of classes should be awarded badges or tags that highlight their success.

Games and Quizzes

We would like to introduce mini-games, including quizzes and challenges, to test our students' learning on a daily basis.

Blogs and Articles For Learning

We plan to provide free articles and blog posts for students who want to explore additional learning materials. This could include an open forum where Alfaclef teachers can share their tips, tricks, and advice.

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • Original sound must be enabled on Zoom to ensure instrument audio is not filtered. To adjust background noise suppression in Zoom, sign in to the desktop client, go to Settings > Audio, and select Zoom optimized audio under Audio Profile. Choose your preferred noise suppression level: Auto (default), Low, Medium, or High, based on your environment and needs.

  • Rescheduling and cancelling is easy on the app! However, it must be done at least 6 hours before your appointment. Otherwise, the teacher is entitled to a full or partial payment for booking the allotted slot.

  • Many teachers offer a 15-minute free consultation session! This is a great chance for you to discuss your goals and determine if you and the teacher are a good match, all without any financial commitment.

  • All you need is the instrument you would want to play and a device that can join Zoom calls with a microphone and camera. Make sure your camera is in a clear position for your instructor to see you practice, and you have enabled Original Sound.

  • Make your instrument is tuned and your devices are charged. Also reach out to your instructor before your lesson to make sure you have prepared any materials you need for your lesson.

  • If your lesson didn’t go as expected, please contact us through our contact page. We may offer a refund if you were not provided the service you expected. To prevent any issues in the future, we also recommend taking advantage of the free 15-minute consultation before making a financial commitment to a teacher.
